Examples of Permitted Listings
Reminder: all listings and products must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Alcoholic beverages like beer, wine or hard liquors, provided that you have a valid liquor licence under the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act of Singapore, and you comply with all applicable laws and licence conditions. Unless you are using the Fulfilment by Amazon service, you must ensure that you have sufficient procedures in place to verify that the recipient of the alcohol upon delivery is aged 18 years or over. At a minimum, these procedures must include visually checking* the identification documents of the recipient to verify that the recipient is aged 18 years or over.
Note: Only visual checking is permitted; under the Advisory Guidelines of the Personal Data Protection Commission, Selling Partners and their carriers should not collect Singapore identification numbers or physically retain Singapore identification documents.
- Products that are excluded or exempt from the liquor licensing requirements under the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act, including (a) beverages containing 0.5% or less ethanol by mass or volume, and (b) food (non-beverage) products containing alcohol as an ingredient, provided that they comply with all other applicable laws.
