Amazon Brand Name Approval

Hello, I had a question regarding brand name approval:

My brand name is rather long, and my products are small to the point that putting my entire brand name on them isn't feasible. However my logo is embedded in my products (think sunk in), and my product packaging contains my entire brand name. From my understanding of the Brand Approval policies, I believe I meet the requirements. If anyone from Amazon can comment it would be greatly appreciated. I currently sell locally in some stores, and going through the trademark process is on my roadmap but not there yet. Thank you!

Your logo should be good enough. However, this is Amazon, so you wont know until you try.

Hello @Seller_mNGaJBmWtZtM2,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would need to review the images or application to asses if they are meeting requirements. If you have submitted an application, please provide the case ID and I will be happy to take a look. If you have not yet applied, here is the bottom line, the images you submit that show that the brand name is permanently affixed will need to match the brand name you are applying for (Exactly) and that brand name must in turn match your TM (exactly) is 1 of the 20 Countries, EUIPO or WIPO that are accepted TM offices accepted for Brand Registry enrollment.

You can find more detail on the above in the Amazon Brand Registry Application Guide on pages 6 and 7, section 3.5 Product information - product images.

Keep in mind that you CAN apply for Amazon Brand Registry with a Design Mark which might represent your brand a bit better if your logo has been registered as a Design Mark. You can find the specifics of what a Design Mark must have by selecting the Country your TM is registered here: Country-specific trademark information.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Best, Dougal
