We recently had an unknown individual leave three fake reviews (review by z98) across three different listings, all unverified purchases. Please tell me how these reviews can be removed, or do you have any suggestions for effectively combating fake reviews?

The best course for dealing with reviews you believe are malicious or fraudulent is to report the review using the Report button next to the review:
I can't guarantee that the reviews will be removed and Amazon won't provide any updates on the status or results of any investigations into these customers or their reviews however it will be directed to the appropriate teams.
