Shipping Inner Cartons to FBA w/ New Split Shipments

Hello,

I have a product that will be set up in the following way:

4 units to an inner, 3 inners to a Master Carton, 12 total units.

My question is, due to the new implementation of Amazon splitting shipments - partial or optimized often being the least expensive - is it still possible to ship Master Cartons like this? I've read that people will ship inners in a Master as 'individual units', but these would more than likely be sent to different warehouses now, correct?

If anyone has any detailed information about how to handle this, it would be much appreciated!

My product is case packed 6 units per case, 6 cases per master carton.

I use the file upload method for shipping to Amazon and put in these columns (for example):

Quantity=144

Units per box=36

Number of boxes=4

Amazon will break it up at the box level if they want to.

Thanks, @Seller_oJY2X570rx42E, for sharing!

@Seller_XCtN2k0BkmRUS, if more than one case pack is placed into a larger box, these larger boxes do not qualify as a case pack and must be separated at the appropriate case-pack level.

To maximize the number of inbound options, try the following:

  • Create separate shipments for standard-size items, non-standard-size items, and each special handling category
  • Ensure the item mix and item quantities are equal across all boxes
  • Increase the number of boxes

Let me know if you have questions!
