Sudden Brand Name REMOVED from Brand Registry
We are a long time loyal Amazon seller, but we just got an emailed this morning from Brand Registry case id 13757205111 stating our brand was removed from brand registry without detail explanation, and we dont know what happened/caused the removal.
Upon checking with our laywer, it happened to be our lawyer who filed the brand for us was one of Amazon's blacklisted attorney, (they have a list of all the sanctioned lawyer list,) . the lawsuit is called IP Law Office Hits Amazon With Defamation Suit Over Company's 'Blacklisted Attorneys'
Does anybody is having this brand removal issue? This seems very unfair for sellers who held the brand for years.

I have been seeing some other posts on the forum about brands getting removed because of issues with the filing lawyer. Have you checked to see if your lawyer has been sanctioned by the USPTO, causing them to be blacklisted by Amazon?

Hello @Seller_WO5inWSJlKva5
My name is Sandy from the Community manager team.
I cannot determine the exact reason for removal of the brand. However, if you believe it was your attorney, unfortunately to move forward you will have to reestablish a trademark with a licensed attorney.
My recommendation is to look for an attorney/law firm that is listed in our IP Accelerator program so you are able to work with Amazon vetted law firms.
I'm sorry this happened to you, and hope this provided small steps into getting back in to the brand registry program.
Best,
Sandy

Amazon is protecting many fake brands. Amazon created this mess and does not know how to fix it. That is what some of us sellers see. Fake branding has lost a lot of seller's money because of this sort of phony baloney.
Example I file an application for a trademark I know won't be approved. Then hop over to brand registry. Before you know it you just took away some guy's ability to sell. That is fake branding. It will take quite a while before it catches up.
Over twenty item we can't sell all claimed by other sellers.
No need to offer help thanks in advance.

It's sad to hear this news. In fact, as a merchant, we are very practical and honest sellers, but our agency registration agency is responsible for Suifeng because we have paid the brand fee, and we have no way to control and It is unfair to manage the legal nature of lawyers when we sell on Amazon. Mainly, we do not certify the qualifications of attorneys, so the platform should track the legal responsibilities of lawyers based on the actual certification information we provide, and cannot let us The seller bears the responsibility because we are the real victims. i hope ,Amazon must to be help us to solve these problems. We are the most honest partner to grow and sell with Amazon .

Do you make the branded product you claim to own. Or was it the band name of your company that was removed? Why would amazon approve your registration and then change their mind. Was your trademark turned down. Did someone else own the brand?
