Commercial Invoice (Tax-ID Consignee)

Hey all,

we are doing the first shipment from Canada to a US warehouse. Our carrier has replied to us that the commercial invoice is wrong. In the Consignee section should we add our own tax-id or an amazon tax-id?

I imagine you are sending an LTL order.

If you are using your own freight forwarder for trasnport, you need your own tax-id in the Consignee section. However, I do not know how this would give your freight forwarder issues as its from Canada to the USA.

Hi @Seller_MIBGsjYnlqGNk,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help! I would echo what @Seller_vSOOwekJLU6c0 provided:

Did this solve this issue? If not please let me know and any other additional questions!

Best,

Dominic
