Costco is a retail store. And No -- will not work for ungating.
Start with the brand itself -- obtain written authorization to sell on Amazon. Ask that brand who are their distributors.

Costco is a retail store, but it IS possible to buy items there as a wholesale account. But make sure that you have authorization FROM THE BRAND before you list anything here, and make sure with the brand that Costco is an authorized WHOLESALE distributor of their products.
(hint, if you're being charged sales tax, it is NOT a wholesale purchase).

True, but I would point out that you can have a resale number on file for certain types of goods, pay retail, and not pay sales tax for those items. So not being taxed isn't an indicator of wholesale.

I'm pretty sure nothing works anymore. I bought $11,000 worth of ASUS products from D&H distributing (Which ASUS themselves say is an authorized distributor) and yet, Amazon still declines the invoices.

Tons (if not all) Costco items are available for sale on Amazon - so I don't agree with what is being said on this thread.
