Bidding Strategy - Where to get answers?
I have some questions on bidding strategy for Amazon PPC but I am not sure where to get the answers.
1. Do "adjusting bids by placement" and "campaign bidding strategy" mix together? Or are both bid adjustments done based on your original bid only?
2. How often does "adjusting bids by placement" take effect? I know that this adjustment is not all the time...its only the few times when our ad can be featured in premium placements on Amazon.com.
3. How can I put in a request to have "campaign bidding strategy" go up to 900% just like "adjusting bids by placement"?

Hello! @Seller_NbYSGJ8Tehgbv
This is Roberto and I wanted to follow up on your post. All of these are great questions, and hopefully I can provide more information on it:
1. Both the "Adjust bids by placement" and "bidding strategy" work together to determine the final bid applied. There is an explanation on how this would be applied in the article below:
2. You are correct here. The bids by placements only takes effect where there is an opportunity for your ads to compete in those placements.
3. It is my understanding that campaign bidding strategies cannot go higher than 100% for placements at the top of the first page of search results, nor more than 50% for all other placements.
Hope this helps. If you require further clarification on this information, I would encourage you to seek support with our Advertising team:
