Hijackers - Fraudulent Sellers-Project Zero?

Project Zero, and though we have met ALL requirements - we still are not eligible. HELP AMAZON FORUM GUY!

Can Amazon AUTOMATICALLY REMOVE fraudulent Third Party Vendors?

We are a 12+ year Amazon seller with excellent account health and ratings. We hold the Trademark and are Brand Registered. We have on-going problems with Third Party vendors selling counterfeit products on our listings. We file numerous Trademark Infringements and are 100% successful.

These Third Party Vendors are "newly launched" and ALWAYS get the Buy Box over US. These Chinese companies often go "on and off" product listings every day - and makes it difficult to catch them.

We would like to use Amazon Advertising but hate the idea of paying for advertising ONLY to drive sales to these Third Party Vendors.

We sell American Flags Made in the USA. The Third Party Vendors sell American Flags MADE IN CHINA and shipping from China. The exact opposite of what Amazon customers think they are buying. These Third Party Vendors are destroying our reputation and sales and causing angry Amazon customers who think they are ordering a flag made in the USA BUT are getting a flag made in China.

Since you are in Brand Registry, have you asked/DEMANDED that they lock down all the ASINs that you are selling on (YOURS) and restrict them to ONLY authorized sellers?

Supply them with a list if there are more than just yourself.

They ARE doing whitelisting where they are restricting sales to ONLY a short list of sellers.

Here is a template of some names....

In addition to Coach and a number of book publishers, there are others blocking most or all sellers.

Here is another recent addition from a few days ago --

“As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible customer experience, Amazon is implementing listing restrictions for Eclipse Glasses. You will no longer be able to sell these products and your listings will be removed. We are not accepting applications to sell these products.”

IF you do not get any cooperation, have your attorney send a letter to Amazon LEGAL telling them that AMAZON Brand Registry is REFUSING to protect your brand AND you are going to you Congressmen and State officials as well.

Remind them the INFORM act does have a few teeth.

I want bring up some information regarding Report a Violation. If these sellers are selling products that are not the same exact product as the listing, you may proceed with a test buy. Once completed, you can use pictures the product, if different, to report the offers and the team will evaluate each case.

Here is a direct link to the Report a Violation tool in Brand Registry. This video has step by step instructions for reporting a violation in Brand Registry beginning at the 2:50 mark of the video. We also had a post recently providing deeper insight into How to Report a Violation through Amazon Brand Registry.

Let me know if you have further questions!
