Invalid Charge Method, Help!!

I'm actually writing, hoping that an Amazon person can reply and help with this problem. I have the same credit card set up for Seller and Buying accounts in Amazon for 2 years now, last year I got the message "Invalid Charge Method a couple of times, then I changed to my personal credit card, 2 weeks later change to the old one and everything was fine. Since business was slow I changed from professional to personal account set up on February, since then I've been receiving the Invalid Charge method over and over, And I changed credit cards several times, I can't even try to switch to professional account because of the same message. Meanwhile I purchase with no problem in my buyer account. What can I do?

I found several discussions with the same problem but no solution. Apparently there's no phone number to get help

Is it a valid credit card (charges interest, you get a bill)?

I understand you have had issues when working to update your valid credit card.

Check the below information related to your credit card:

  • Is the credit card valid?
  • Is there a minimum charge amount?
  • Are you using a pre-paid card? (Note: Use of a pre-paid card is not accepted for a selling account.)
  • Does the bank have a record of the charge attempt?
  • Are there bank limits or policies that prevent the charge attempt from being authorized?
  • Is there any incorrect credit card information entered? (Note: All the credit card information entered such as number, name, address, ZIP code, or expiration date must be an exact match with your card details.)
  • Is this chargeable in the currency of the Amazon marketplace where you registered your seller account?
  • Until the card verification problem is resolved, Amazon won't be able to process any payments for your account.

Only the primary account owner can make changes related to payment information.

We accept the following credit or debit cards:

  • American Express
  • Diners Club
  • Discover
  • JCB
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

If all other requirements are met, you will want to look into editing, deleting, or adding a new valid credit card.

Let us know if you still need assistance, as the community and I are here to support you.

All the best,

Stevie.
