Did amazon take away USPS Ground Advantage for packages over one pound?
I noticed on Saturday it was gone, all day Sunday gone. Is this a temp glitch or did they remove the option?
This is EVERY package over 1 pound. Even one that delivers 15 miles away. Priority is my only USPS option on everything over one pound. Parcel Select and USPS Ground Advantage are available options using paypal shipping , just not an option in amazon now. Obviously, I want to use amazon shipping to be protected.
I am holding off shipping everything over a pound hoping this option comes back on Monday.

Same here and I'm not going to pay $20 to ship a 2lb. package that would ship out for $10 using GA. I'm guessing the arrival time doesn't meet Az. standards. Back to standing in line at the P.O. Geeze ;(

Are you still unable to select USPS Ground Advantage in Buy Shipping as you would prefer?
As @Seller_lygVxpYGYYOav posted, the most common reason is that the service is not calculated to meet the promised delivery times for those orders. USPS updated their transit times during this peak time of the year, and they are longer than usual.

USPS Ground Advantage is no longer available on any shipment for us since Monday. Sounds like it is due to USPS GA not meeting Amazons expected delivery times.
UPS seems to be comparable on only some packages, but for the most part the higher rates for USPS Priority and other offers will cut too deeply.
Sellers could be exposed to more risk by purchasing shipping outside of Amazon and taking possible hits on metrics, but this is probably worth it for many sellers compared to taking the hit on higher shipping costs.
