"Restricted edit permissions" now the default? Wasn't edit permission the primary benefit of a pro seller account?
"Restricted edit permissions: Since you are not the brand owner for this product, you can only create an offer for this ASIN. You are not authorized to make or request an update for any other attribute for this product. If you are the brand owner, please make sure you’re registered in Brand Registry and this ASIN is registered to your brand."
The above notice has been creeping its way into my listings. And today, it seems to be the default status of all my book listings. PLEASE NOTE: I sell primarily old science fiction and genre books. Most of the publishers are long gone, so there is no "brand owner." And many of the existing pages NEED EDITING. They are often pages created decades ago, and often lack proper descriptions or other details. I can't even add missing info like number of pages or format, etc.
I understand restrictions for in-print or back catalog titles for existing publishers. But for a 50 year-old magazine from a defunct publisher?
Editing privilege for such ASINs was, up to now, a primary benefit of a pro account. End of an era, I suppose.
