Adjustment Fee Fedex $324 !!

I recently incurred a significant adjustment fee for one of my orders delivered via FedEx. The dimensions they recorded are completely inaccurate. My package's dimensions are clearly different, and I have proof from the customer's front door showing the actual size. According to FedEx's product details, my package weighed 1 lb, but they listed the dimensions as 44x22x2 inches and 56 lb as you can see below, which is impossible.

I contacted Amazon Seller Support, but they informed me there was nothing they could do and advised me to reach out to FedEx. When I contacted FedEx, I encountered a common issue for sellers: without a FedEx account number, they can't process a refund since the shipment was arranged through Amazon.

Given that this charge appears on my Amazon account, I believe Amazon should rectify this unfair charge. I even visited a FedEx location today, and they confirmed they can't change the dimensions. And they confirmed that it is not possible to have those dimensions for 1 lb package. Therefore, the only solution lies with Amazon Customer Service correcting this discrepancy.

Disputes related to carrier shipment adjustments must be submitted to support and escalated to the carrier through that channel.

Your next step is to open a new support case and to request that the dispute be escalated. Include the order number, original and audited dimensions and weight, the tracking photo you included here, and any other details you believe are important.

Please share that Case ID with me so I can monitor it.

We had quite a few added charges on packages , none obscene as 324 for a tiny envelope, but we never accomplished anything.

yeah they destroyed my pockets too and did not even properly investigated or even put a cap on the amount to monitor it. Amazon just allow them to go in and charge more after the original purchase deal was made. It’s nasty work and this issue is only going to get bigger and bigger so let make a lot of noise and slowly move else where ! I got a total of 800 dollars this month on;y for the first time on this platform. I feel sick and Amazon don’t care. It’s nasty business,… technically abuse.

good luck man ….. and in the picture it said adjust size and demension and it was no changes to the weight nor size… and still allowed stealing , I’m a call it what it is. It’s like Amazon looks at it like it not your money yet, let hit him with all the adjustments from 2 month ago before pay out. It’s almost ending like ponz….. let just see where the future is going lol

Fedex is the UNcarrier. They are scammers and absolutely ridiculous. Strongly recommend NEVER USING FEDEX for any shipment, ever. We have our own account and they hit us with so many extended charges we just said never again and closed the account.

Corporations are engaged in FRAUD, that is how they keep posting continual profit growth. They do not have "ethics, morals, integrity" that is not a thing. They take and take and take until there is nothing left for their customers.

ANYONE who is using Fedex will find out, they have the most absurd adjustments of any carrier we have ever used. We have 28 years in this and over 100,000 packages sent. Fedex over the last 4 years has literally lost their mind, and you won't get anywhere calling them or trying to get credit.

JUST STOP USING THEM and never do it again.

they charged incorrectly for the dimensional weight, probably on the conveyor belt and this fell on top of another package before going in their little x ray machine or whatever to measure it using their technology. They will have a picture of it and usually correct it, however, if using anything other than USPS, Amazon holds all the cards as it is their account for fedex and ups. To keep shipping prices to a minimum they must show they are shipping millions to be able to get such discounts. Pirate ship is definitely the way to go for fed ex or ups. No fees to sign up its all free, just pay shipping.

Sorry that happened to you at such a large discrepancy. We had similar issues with Fedex thru eBay but we were able to get refunded. We have a strict no FedEx policy now, which is sad because they used to be great.
