Refund the 39.99 USD

I've been trying to get a refund for the 39.99 fee for some time now. I initially registered in the wrong category, and even though I've already been downgraded to the individual plan, I was charged this fee on my credit card.

Unfortunately, support keeps asking me to verify my documents, and on the verification page it says that it's already complete.

It seems that it's only possible to get a refund after "reconfirming" the documents, which seems like a challenge because on the verification center page there's no option to upload the document, just a green message saying that everything is ok.

Amazon does not refund the $39.99 monthly fee. That is because if the account was verified, you could be selling 100.000 products today.

Go to the account settings page in seller central, and downgrade to the individual account and you will not be billed next month.

The inimitable @CR_Amazonposted these directions recently on the process for requesting such a refund. In case its helpful, I'll also share a direct link to this overview of the Monthly subscription fee which includes further details and the tool for requesting a refund.

Hopefully some time was just needed for the documents to sync across Amazon systems, but please do let me know if you have any additional questions on this.
