My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can take a look at what is going on. Thanks for providing the case ID.

It is best to think of your interactions with Brand Registry Support in terms of the MCID that you are currently logged into and not necessarily the brand as a whole. Brand Registry Support is not mistaken nor providing false information or deliberately misleading you, they are providing detail for the MCID that they are specifically communicating with. Here is the detail that I think will clear up the misconception:

In the case ID you shared, you were communicating with Brand Registry Support via your US account MCID which does not have a protection role set up for the brand in question, but does have a selling role as they mentioned.

Your EU Account MCID is the Rights Owner and Administrator (protection roles) for the brand in question.

Note, I had to take some time and utilize several tools to make the connection that both these accounts are linked.

Please review the Brand Registry protection roles help page for what these roles are and how you can provide them to your US account from your EU account via the Brand Registry site.
