What is the purpose of an A-Z claim?
Buyer tells me she never received item. Tracking number shows delivered, so I tell buyer to file an A-Z claim. Amazon grants her claim and debits my account. I appeal with the tracking information, proving delivery. Amazon rejects my appeal! I call Account Health who tells me I need to open a support case to get it resolved. Why in the hell do I need to open a support case?? I thought the purpose of an A-Z claim was for Amazon to arbitrate between buyer and seller? This isn't arbitration, it's theft!! Any Amazon associates available to explain this to me?

For Amazon to have covered this, you would have needed to use Amazon's buy shipping and the carrier's tracking needs to show them taking possession of it on or before the ship-by date on the order. Were both of these true for this order?

Hello @Seller_eMQMfwzDFWFyS
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
@Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD is right, when you ship on time using Amazon's Buy Shipping, there is no impact to your account health or Order defect rate for granted delivery related claims (as long as you respond to customer inquiries within 48 hours), although you may still be responsible for reimbursing the customer. Please advise whether the order was shipped via buy shipping.
