Appeal for Account Reactivation

Dear Amazon Seller Performance Team,

I am writing to appeal the deactivation of my seller account, due to an issue related to the internet/IP address. I understand that Amazon takes account security and compliance seriously, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify this matter.

Issue Explanation:

o My account was deactivated because Amazon detected access from the same internet/IP as another account.

o I do not operate multiple seller accounts, nor do I have any intention of violating Amazon’s policies.

Steps Taken to Resolve the Issue:

o I have switched to a dedicated internet connection solely for my seller account.

o I have ensured that no other Amazon seller accounts are accessed from my network.

o I will use a static IP address and avoid shared or public networks.

Request for Reactivation:

I sincerely request Amazon to review my case and reactive my seller account. I am committed to complying with all Amazon policies and will take extra precautions to avoid any similar issues in the future.

You mention having already identified that the association was due to shared internet, is this the only piece of information that may have been shared between your account and the other? How are you and the other account owner associated? Generally, this type of situation will require either an explanation that can provide context to the identified information or you will need the other account owner to resolve the impact to their own account for you to move forward on yours.

If you are providing a detailed explanation, then it is going to be indicative that the information either did not align or was not thorough enough for our team to remove the restrictions. I would advise on reviewing what you have and ensuring that it matches exactly to what actually occurred. If they remain unable to validate what you are submitting, the only option will be for the other account owner to resolve their issues as we cannot guarantee a resolution otherwise.
