listing Suppressed Massively these days
Recently we have massive listings suppressed by Amazon. We do not understand what is going on. But we think it could be the Amazon IT department issue. All the suppressed listings show that there are no product descriptions, however there are! No matter how we input the descriptions, those listings remain suppressed and cannot be fixed at all. Amazon prime day is coming and we cannot sell at all. Please help.
We opened a case with only small amount of the listings listed. The case ID is 15546655611. We are still waiting for reply.

Same thing happened to 1/3 of our listings and no matter what you put in to the "product description" it never takes and the listing remains suppressed.

We have been getting suppressions for over 2 months claiming no department or color is not added; but you can't list my items without providing those attributes. It ridiculous. I'm constantly contacting Seller Support and found better success when you chat with them instead of messaging. It might take a few seller support team members but they are there and will get those ASIN active again; but no one will fix the glitch. Check your bullet points and descriptions as well, all of ours were removed. Look like this is the new norm. Now I check for suppressions daily. The last round took up 3 hours of my time for 30 suppressions but, the team member got them all active.

yes, i've been experiencing the same thing the last 2-3 months...it's incredibly frustrating as majority of my catalog is suppressed for reason i can't figure out.
i have to reapply to list most of the brands i have been selling for the last 10 years. and i'm given a 96 hour window.
selling on amazon has been a nightmare, and seller support is at an all time low, which is horrifying b/c it's usually horrible

This happened to us as well. Description has been loaded for years. Even when you go to edit the listing, it shows the description written in there, but the system does not recognize it.
Seems to happen every year. When this happened last year, it took a few weeks to get it resolved. Seller support does not understand and only hands the problem to the 'internal team' where nothing happens. Manually pasting the description back in solved nothing. The only way around it was to mass-upload all the products again. For some reason, even though the description is unchanged from what is already in the system, it was accepted and the problem resolved.
Unfortunately, our sales never recovered from this Amazon glitch and have been essentially zero since the problem started. Now they are deactivated again for the same reason. Of course what makes this even more challenging is that another seller was able to hijack the brand and change it for 'some' listings. After the mass-upload of all the listings to load the description, the Amazon system mass over-wrote the wrong brand name to all our products.
No amount of evidence is sufficient to get Amazon to understand and yet no effort was needed by the hijackers to change it? Even the manufacturer is unable to get Amazon to understand that the brand name clearly shown on the box of the product is the brand of the product.
I wish you best of luck...

Same thing has been happening for several months now and I only sell national brand products. Seller support is all but useless, not matter what is added regarding a solution the listing is inevitably suppressed. Only been successful twice in the 10+ suppressions and thats when I was blessed with speaking to someone from the catalog department. That would be my recommendation however to get their you are intercepted by about 20+ bots and incompetent associates.

Wouldn't say I've had a massive amount but I've definetly had some and each was a head scratcher. I sell used books and the reason for suppression was having prices for an item that was too high above the average. What was weird was the difference was about 0.50 cents. Even weirder was the price they were suggesting would mean a loss for me. Made no sense. Other books I had same issue and all I could do was remove them from my inventory. Interesting this is happening to others as well. I reached out for assistance on this to Amazon but as usual, that was a waste of time.

Good luck with the IT department. They don't care at all. I got cases and issue pending from last year and still not SOLVED!!!

Usually they explain the reason, then when you click on how to fix it, they tell you. The fix is usually rambling and massive, but in there you will find the diamond. For example, I had some items that were parts for name brand items, I had to use the word "compatible with" in my description and title. So I added it and it did the trick.

It does not like something in your product description. You need to contact seller support and ask for the catalog department.

Same here. Just fixed another. It's Amazon bots running wild thru product pages again. This is awful and hurts sales.
