Need helps getting invoices and ungate some catagories! Please
Hello all, I'm new to AMZ business and struggling with getting invoices and ungate bands, catagories to start listing, I have watched many videos but then i got overwhelming by the information is all different ways. So briefly, how can I get ungate some of the catagories like beauty & supply, toys and games. Most of videos I watch peopel just start going to Walmart, Targets etc. and start scanning/ adding items. I did most of that but 95% of those items said i need to ungate the catagories in order to sell those. Also, lets say I go to walmart and see a toys/ craft i wanna ungate, do I look at the brands of that and go online buy 10units and request for the invoice? I apologize for if these sounds stupid, but i do need the actual help. Any helps would be highly Appreciated!!
Btw I'm planning to get into FBM first to get to know the systems.

Quick way to get your account suspended. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL IN FACEBOOK GROUPS! They have NO idea.
Congratulations! The first step to knowledge is admitting that we don't know anything. You are one of the few who will apply "Learning BEFORE doing" (the only way to survive on Amazon) and not "Learning BY doing".
So, this is my advice: Take some time, go in your seller central, scroll down to “Learn”, click Seller University and watch all the videos. That will take 2-3 months. Selling on Amazon needs a lot of learning. Read this forum daily, write keywords in the search bar in seller central and study the help pages that show up. Once you THINK having understood the basics come here again for specific questions. If you don't do all this, your account will be suspended without doubt soon or late.

Thank you for reaching out with your questions. Amazon requires approval for categories, brands, and even individual products. In general, based on my experience, I would not recommend trying to get approval for a specific category, but the products you intend to actually sell. Amazon requires you to provide the ASIN or ASINs of the product or products you intend to sell before you can apply for approval. When you add a product you can attempt to request approval if you have appropriate invoices and sourcing. If you have any other specific questions please feel free to reach out again.
