I think Amazon is selling counterfeit products?
Hello, I was suspended under section 3 about three weeks ago, but there was no warning about this in the account health section. Amazon directly deactivated the account and said the products were counterfeit. I sent the invoice of the products to Amazon. I had purchased the products from Amazon, and the seller was also Amazon. I provided the order numbers and everything as screenshots to Amazon, but they are still saying that they need additional information. The review is being conducted by the handmade team, but the response is being provided by the seller review team. This is really a ridiculous situation. If this is the case, it means that Amazon is selling counterfeit products. We will file a lawsuit regarding this, as they are not accepting their own invoice and calling it counterfeit. Furthermore, a compensation claim will be filed for the days our account was closed.

In Amazon's language, "counterfeit" means that proper supply source is not documented.
Retail outlets are not proper supply sources. It does not matter if that retail outlet is Walmart, Target, eBay, Amazon, etc.

Then you didn't have an invoice, you had a receipt. Amazon is a RETAIL seller, not wholesale.
You do that. I'd advise making sure that the lawyer reads through the ToS that you agreed to when you opened your account before they charge you anything. Because once they read the terms, you're unlikely to find a reputable attorney to take your case.

Hello @Seller_A2KR8IrSLhi8i,
Thank you for posting your concerns with authenticity.
The first question I have on your situation is what type of concern of authenticity have you experienced? Did you receive a customer complaint, was this a supply chain or review initiated from inventory shipped to the fulfillment center? Was this related to a brand or rights owner issuing a complaint of infringement?

As mentioned by @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl, sourcing from amazon will never show a valid supply chain and cannot be used a source of products. Per our responsible sourcing document requirements, your sourcing invoices "Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain". Our receipts provided upon purchase of an item does not include supply chain information, we additionally have no rights or authorization from the brand or rights owner to authorize you to use someone else's intellectual properties or sell someone else's products. When you purchase through a buying account, you are a consumer.
When you received your request for more information, what was requested, was there a reference on why it was not accepted?

Hello @Seller_A2KR8IrSLhi8i,
Thank you for posting your follow up information.
Amazon is a retailer and sells retail. Purchasing from us to resell is not a valid source of products or supply chain. Our documents will not reference the original supplier or manufacturer which is required per our responsible sourcing requirements previously mentioned.
Even if your documentation meets all other aspects of these requirements if we cannot verify they were sourced appropriately for resale on amazon, these documents cannot be accepted. Do you have a letter of authorization from the brand or rights owner authorizing the use of amazon turkey as a supplier? If not, I cannot guarantee the acceptance of any purchase receipts issues by amazon for any issues at this time. If we cannot verify compliance and that these products were sourced appropriately, I cannot guarantee the eligibility of reactivation at this time.

I fired Amazon. Been selling thrifted books on there for over 11 years. I have a "counterfeit" quilting book. Do I need a sourcing agreement with Salvation Army? I'm done with them. Look out little guys. Your selling world is about to change!
