Prime Day Prep: Deal Diligence
Hello sellers,
As we gear up for Prime Day 2025, it's crucial to keep a close eye on your upcoming deals to ensure they continue to meet eligibility requirements and remain visible to shoppers. We've put together this guide to help you navigate any issues that may arise with your Prime Day deals.
Monitoring Your Deals Regularly: Check your Deals dashboard in Seller Central to stay on top of your upcoming Deals. If any of your scheduled deals become suppressed, you'll need to take action to update them appropriately via the "Needs Attention" section.
Here's a couple common pitfalls to avoid:
- Pricing Edits: If you lower the price on a participating ASIN, you may also need to lower the deal price to avoid suppression.
- Deleting or Closing Listings: Don't change the status of any ASIN participating in a deal to "Closed" - this will cancel the deal, and it cannot be reactivated.
- Creating New Child ASINs: For deals that include variations, avoid adding new child ASINs after the deal has been submitted, as this will cause the deal to revalidate and potentially become suppressed.
Troubleshooting Resources: If you run into any issues with your active or suppressed deals, check out these helpful resources:
- Monitor Deals
- Troubleshooting suppressed and active Deals
- Amazon's Deals help page, which details seller and product eligibility requirements, and tips for getting the most out of your deals.
- Deals for events
- Understand deal fees
Stay Ahead of the Curve: By proactively monitoring your deals and avoiding common missteps, you'll be well-positioned to keep your Prime Day offers running smoothly and visible to shoppers.
Let us know if you have any other questions - we're here to help you succeed during this major sales event!
Happy selling!
