Coupon Party Question (Handmade Newsletter from 10/25/23 )
Amazon Handmade is doing another coupon party. I'm curious if it's going to be advertised this time? Why does Amazon Handmade not use it's social media platforms to promote sellers or even sales?
Amazon Handmade's Instagram has 336,000 followers. The last post on Instagram was June 7th.
Amazon Handmade's Facebook Page has 1.6 Million followers. The last post on Facebook was January 25.
For those of you who didn't get the email I've posted it below since it's not in the Handmade Hub.

Greetings Handmade sellers,
The holiday season is just around the corner! Not sure how to start preparing? We’ve got you covered. Here are some quick tips to help you prepare for holiday traffic:
Coupon Party
We will be hosting our next coupon party from November 1st– November 22nd (11:59pm PST). We encourage you to consider placing coupons on your ASIN(s) during this time to potentially get placed on the Coupon Party landing page. This is a great opportunity to run coupons on products that might have underperformed on Prime Big Deal Days, getting you back to healthy inventory levels while continuing to offer a great value to customers.
During this event, we will highlight selling partners and their coupon deals on our Amazon.com homepage and Coupons page.
Optimize your product listings
The starting point to holiday preparation is having complete detail pages with high quality titles, product descriptions, bullet points, and images.
Review the help page: Great Detail Pages Drive Sales and our webinar: Listing Quality - Preparing for the Holiday Season 2023.
Update your inventory
Make sure your featured products are well stocked so you’re ready to handle demand without running out of inventory. Create more items by navigating to Seller Central, from the top menu click on Inventory and select Add a Product. Or take a look at your inventory and decide if you need to replenish!
FBA Inbound inventory due October 26th, 2023 (North America) and October 27th, 2023 (Europe)
FBA inventory for holiday deals must be received at an Amazon Fulfillment Center by October 26th, 2023 (North America) and October 27th, 2023 (Europe). Inventory that is received after this date is not guaranteed to be checked in by peak deal days (Black Friday/Cyber Monday).
Review the FBA holiday preparation guide for more helpful information!
Set Free Shipping if your products are not Prime
Customers love free delivery and are more likely to choose products with free delivery over products that have additional shipping fees. If you fulfill your own orders and your items are not eligible for Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), we encourage you to experiment with free shipping.
How do I turn Free Shipping on? There is no sign-up involved, simply navigate to Shipping Settings and set your shipping rates to $0.00.
Review your Production Times
Make sure the production time on your item page accurately reflects the time to produce the item. If you are consistently delivering items quicker than advertised consider reducing your production time or shipping time.
Customers continue to shop closer to the holiday, so they will pay special attention to the delivery promise. Optimizing your delivery promise can have a positive impact on your click-through rate and conversion.
To update your production times, go to your Inventory tab, select ASIN and edit the Production Time field in the Offer Tab.
Plan your promotions & pricing
Holidays are the best time of year to attract more customers by offering promotions and deals on your products. These are great ways to help increase sales and discoverability. All promotion types are under the ‘Advertising’ tab in Seller Central. Check out these links to learn more:

what’s missing from this email is, do the items have the be on sale the entire length of the event? Or can it just be a few days but you’ll still have a chance to be placed in the coupon landing page? Another thing, it mentions free shipping, Is this an absolute must to also be featured? So many questions about this that they left open in the email.

I don't want to crash their party. I didn't receive an invitation. Haven't received a Handmade email in probably a year.
