A-Z INR claim question

We used Amazon BUY shipping to ship a package via UPS to a customer. The tracking shows:

07/09/2024 4:20 A.M. Damage Reported

The package has been damaged. All merchandise has been discarded and the sender will be notified. Nashville, TN, United States

Then about 4 hours later it shows:

07/09/2024 8:10 A.M. On the Way

Processing at UPS Facility Knoxville, TN, United States

That was 8 days ago, and is the last scan. in this circumstance, do we tell the buyer to file an A-Z and expect coverage from Amazon due to non-delivery to them or us? Or is this not covered, and we refund the order and move on? I know we generally refund for damage, but in this case, the package was never delivered. I could not find anything regarding this gray area. Thanks.

If you are going to inform them to file an A-Z, make sure all your t's are crossed and i's are dotted. Did you ship on time? Was it scanned as received by the carrier before the ship date (not label created)?

Hello @Seller_ScDFHvsF5FzDf

Have you received any additional information about that shipment? Did it reach its destination or is it still "on the way"?

Based on the information you provided, the shipment would be covered for "problems with delivery."
