Need a refund for UPS late delivery

Need a refund for UPS late delivery

I paid over $40 for an overnight shipping label for UPS. Bought the label through Amazon. UPS delivered the package over 48 hours late. UPS has a policy called the GSR policy which states if a package is delivered even 60 seconds late on an overnight/next day package the label is 100% free. I spoke with UPS, and since the label was purchased through amazon they said amazon has to file for the refund. You only have 14 days to do this. Can anyone help please?

"All UPS ground and express packages are guaranteed to arrive on time, or it's free. Once you identify that a package was delivered late, requesting a UPS Guaranteed Service Refund is the next step to get your money back. The request must be within 15 days of the originally scheduled delivery date."
