Brand Registry removals 13653564741

Amazon has blacklisted hundreds of attorneys who have filed Trademarks.

Recently Amazon has started to remove brand registries for thousands of sellers by those same attorneys.

The attorney who filed mine years ago, was one of those blacklisted.

While I do not know why he was blacklisted, I have personally had a good experience with him.

One of my brands, Age of Sage, has since been removed by Amazon due to this blacklist.

I do not feel it is fair to hurt the thousands of brands who did nothing wrong, including mine.

The process to fix this is a mess.

I had to file an attorney withdrawal at the USPTO.

I then had to file an appeal with Amazon. If anyone from Amazon see this it's Case id: 13653564741

This is hours of work and massive uncertainty with losing control of a 7 figure brand I've put years of life into.

You can see my store at Amazon com / AgeofSage

Each of my brands are being made to give to each of my kids. I am a legitimate hard working seller and proponent of Amazon.

I am currently waiting for Amazon to accept my appeal.

I advocate Amazon to NOT remove brands from brand registry without first contacting them and asking them questions. Or at least use some logic in the removals.

I have also been blocked from filing new brands with Amazon, including Bruced my new supplement brand this past week.

I also own My Amazon Guy, a 400 brand agency, perhaps the largest Amazon agency, and we have seen dozens of our client's brands start to be removed.

We are working on helping those affected.

Amazon, wouldn't it be a better use of time to help sellers instead of hinder them like this?

Picture of Amazon saying it could take upto 15 days to review my appeal.

Think mods deleted rick's post. Can't put identifying info but yes there's a lot of attorneys affected.

Amazon has been allowing false branding for a long time. We have many items we can no longer sell because of their willy nilly approach to branding. If you do not make the item and sell it, the item is not your brand you have to have permission from the rights owner to sell their brand product under your brand Name. If I am wrong someone with a vast knowledge in trademark and copyrighting, Please Correct me.

We think amazon is trying to redefine Branding, Trademark, and copyrights. Hope that you can resolve this mess. Amazon thinks it is so big the ego AI is in control not amazon and should be questioned. Good Luck to you.

My brand was also removed on April 7th of this year. I have been still trying to appeal. It's been a real headache and I've been stressed out by it.

After a store's brand is removed, all brand-related features are unusable, you can't put up new listings, and the brand name is easy to be maliciously hijacked by others (which happened to me, sigh!).

I hope you can appeal successfully, good luck!

It's a pity what is happening to you and other sellers.

This is the handy work of The National Retail Federation or NRF.

Their CEO is doing the rounds as we speak, on CNBC, Forbes, and such. They are doing a back-and-forth routine where the claim is that retail is down and the culprit could be consumers walking away from discretionary spending, but also criminals gangs, theft, and counterfeiters working with third-party sellers.

They advocate for a hard crackdown, blah, blah.

BTW any theft gang working hand to pocket for a hundred years couldn't match white-collar crime wiping out millions every year.

In any case, hardworking sellers with their own products and brands, protected by federal law, as in USPTO, are being affected by this giant lobbyist, The National Retail Federation or NRF. If people don't have money to buy their wares, it can't be helped.

Since the introduction of the Consumers Act, I haven't seen but bad news.

Don't take my word for it, go see the videos and judge yourself, it's happening in real-time.
