Why was I being charged more with a professional account vs. an individual account?
After down grading to an individual account, I now see that the yellow buy button is gone on all my offers. I want to sign back up for the professional plan, but Amazon was charging me $40 per sale for my main product when my individual account is only charging me $20. Amazon support said that the high $40 fee was due to me using their special tools. Is it possible for me to sign back up for the professional account and not use the stupid tools so I can get the cheaper $20 final value fee?
Thx in advance.

Your post is confusing.
On the individual selling plan there are no monthly fees. There is a 99¢ fee per sale. This is in addition to other Amazon fees.
On the monthly plan you pay $39.99 per month irregardless of how many or how few sales. There is no 99¢ fee per sale.
The other fees (referral fee, possible closing fee) are the same on either selling plan.
Sellers on the individual plan are not eligible for the buy box (other than through FBA).

Hello @Seller_qdVf8A9sXKsjH
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
As @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl mentioned, the professional selling plan includes a $39.99 monthly subscription fee while the individual selling plan has a $0.99 per-item fee. You can review a comparison of the selling plans and features included via this help page.
Referral fees are charged based on the category of the item. You can review the referral fee rates in this help page. If you are seeing a discrepancy on the referral fees for the same ASIN, I would suggest checking to ensure that the ASIN is still in the correct category. Please feel free to open a case with our Support team to troubleshoot the concern. If you have already opened one, you can update this thread with the case ID number and I will take a look.
Switch to a Professional selling plan help page details how to upgrade your selling plan back to a professional selling plan.
