Negative Rating attack

We believe that our competitor or a malicious actor made a purchase to lower our review rating.

A customer bought all of our available products (dietary supplements) on Amazon, with delivery to a commercial address (office), and is now leaving one-star reviews claiming that all supplement bottles were opened and had defective seals. This is the only order of all the products we have and the only such claim we have received across all our sales, and if this were the case, we believe other customers would have reported similar issues.

Moreover, the supplement was shipped through FBA. If the seals were indeed broken, as this buyer claims, Amazon would not have dispatched the products in such a condition.

Additionally, this customer has no history of leaving reviews for other products, which raises further suspicion.

It is evident that this is an attack on our brand. We asked Amazon you to investigate this matter (case ID 17077703431), but they just replied we can report abuse of Amazon Policy which we did (Complaint ID: 17077737091).

All we're asking is to protect us as an Amazon seller, delete the already published reviews for this order, and prohibit this customer from reviewing our products in the future.

PS. should be noted that we are only several months on Amazon and we don't buy reviews like many others so one negative review significantly influences our product's rating

Well, you can believe what you want, but it is there to stay. If there is one thing Amazon does not like doing is getting involved between a buyer and seller. It would take a lot of documentation to prove your point.

I am so sorry to see this. I have been through this and it sucks because Amazon refuses to help even when you have evidence to prove a bad actor was involved. Keep your chin up and keep grinding. I hope this all works out for you.

I’m truly sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this situation. I’ve encountered similar cases on other platforms, and it’s frustrating that some business owners resort to unfair tactics. Competing against larger companies is already challenging for small businesses, and it’s even more disheartening when smaller businesses turn against one another. I hope you’re able to resolve it soon.

Interesting, Amazon generally crosses out negative reviews from Amazon Shipments, especially if the Buyer is indicating the products were damaged and in your case shipped from FBA. I would definitely follow-up on getting Amazon to cancel the review.

I am sorry this is happening to you, these things seem to happen all to common.

Amazon really doesnt do much with fake reviews. They allege to, but we just reported one and listed the competitor whose shipping address matches their business address and name, and they did nothing.

It's BS. It's illegal. No one will likely help you.

So sorry this is happening to you. Your message has inspired me to review my recent purchases on Amazon and provide positive feedback on the products I like the most. My hope is that some positive review karma comes your way. (Nothing shady here fellow sellers, just leaving good feedback on the socks, dog treats and other things I buy from my personal account).
