Credit where credit is due - bravo Amazon for finding bad actors and removing their bad actions.
There are many things that can be improved, and we read and write about them here, but I think acknowledging what is going right is worth noting.

I would argue that being surprised that Amazon did something that should be done on a normal basis does not warrant kudos.
Giving Amazon kudos gives the perception that positive actions are being applied to remove bad actors. This can lead someone to think that, eventually, Amazon will remove all of the fake reviews. Thats great that your situation was resolved...but a very large fake review problem remains that Amazon will not resolve and rationalize that they are "working on it".
