Sending FBA inventory to West, Central, or East
Now that we pay more fees to send our inventory for FBA, how do we choose between the regions? Assuming our goal is to send to different regions to spread our the FBA inventory across the county, is there any way to see how much inventory Amazon is carrying broken out by West, Central, or East regions? It seems the cost to send out inventory to each region is different... why wouldn't we at least always send to the least expensive region?

Greetings @Seller_8FKUfejsc4Epb
At this time it's not possible to outright select a specific region. From the Seller Central Help Page: "Placing inventory closer to customers in multiple fulfillment centers across the country is critical to delivering products faster and at a lower cost. The FBA inbound placement service fee for standard and large bulky sized products reflects the cost of distributing inventory to fulfillment centers close to customers."
So while you can set your region preferences in your FBA settings, ultimately several factors play into where the Inbound Placement service determines where to send your inventory.
