Brand Registry Status "Answered" and inability to proceed with registration
I started enrolling my brand in July 2023, before the brand was officially registered in USPTO. In October 2023 it was officially registered, but I can do nothing with my application now and I don't know how to proceed with registration of my brand in Amazon Brand Registry.
I tried to start a new application, but I was not allowed to do so with the same brand name, the error message was "Application for brand is currently under review". But when I go to my case log, it says "Answered cases cannot be reopened after 5 days with no activity. If you need help with an issue, please contact us". When I try to "contact Amazon", it says "You do not have any brands enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry. To start using our brand protection tools, enroll at least one brand. Learn more about Brand Registry’s application process." So it is kind of a vicious circle and I am very confused.
Please advise what I can do to proceed, what is my next step?

Hi Lurii,
Daryl here from our Forums team providing my insight on this matter, upon further inspection I do see here the specific case related to the enrollment which was case (13319475031) but in this particular case the brand was not actually registered.
There was a follow-up case (13339665071) in which you were asked to confirm the following:
"We've provided a verification code to the public contact listed on the agency website where the trademark for DUMA is registered.
To receive the verification code, contact the trademark correspondent. Please do not, under any circumstance, contact the trademark office directly.
The verification code will confirm you are eligible to enroll DUMA in Brand Registry.
Trademark correspondent email address: jkettle@law.rutgers.edu
Reply to this case within 10 days with the verification code and case ID for this application."
On the case open a month ago related to this issue (14400246711) the brand registry associate didn't really answer the concern as your brand is not registered yet, would advise contacting our BR team once again and ask if the process left off on case 13339665071 can be reinstated or resumed as the approval of the enrollment process wasn't completed due to lack of response from your end 5 months ago.
