Amazon Fees explained?

Hi!

Can anyone care to explain, what are "Amazon fees"?

I have made sales of 976$ since 4th of October, for this I have paid:

- 115$ for FBA fees

- 601$ for Advertising (PPC)

- And 459$ for "Amazon fees" - what are they and why does it charge so much? These have eaten away all my profit and im currently sitting with a hefty loss because of these fees.

I understand the FBA fees which cover the packing and referral, also the ppc for ads but what else is there with this high cost?

Go to your payments and pull a transaction report. You should be able to see itemized fees. In addition to your PPC fees you may also be paying a selling/commission fee (usually about 15% of the selling price), FBA fee (for pick/pack/ship to customers), storage, inbound shipping, labeling, etc

You may want to look at the revenue calculator to help you understand the potential profitability of the items you're trying to sell.
