Is Amazon Review Fair??
I am a new Amazon seller. In the past three months, my best-selling items got 150 orders and the return rate is less than 5%. I think 95% of my customers are satisfied with my products. Then I got a one-star review (it is the ONLY review) and my product became a one-star product. Who will buy a one-star product if there are similar but 4 or 5-star products available? I am not saying that the one-star review was from a competitor. But it is just too easy for any of my competitors to kick me out by one review. Amazon should take this into consideration!!

Are you saying you sold 150 products and got ONE review?

If your product is eligible, use the Vine program. You will pay for the privilege of giving away free product in hopes of fair reviews, but it will mitigate this sort of thing if it is a competitor.

Most people do not even pay attention to reviews since they realize most are false and/or not true, Don't fret over it.

Feed backs come at a rte of 1-2 per 100 sales, and reviews come at a rate much less than that.
There is no fairness in reviews, and buyers can say just about anything they ways, positive or negative about the product.
Amazon will not do anything about it, in fact Amazon gives buyer's 5 different ways to rate the seller..
1. Product reviews
2. Seller Feedback
3. Voice of the Customer
4. Making a false product return claim so they can get a full refund which they were not intitled to under Amazon's policies.
5. Calling Customer Service and telling lies about the seller and product they sold to get a refund and keep the product too.
As you can see, Amazon has stacked the deck against the seller, even before they begin.
You have to consider yourself lucky you only received one of the five. Nasty buyers will do four of the above if not all five.

Amazon also allows competing sellers to leave you negative feedback in order to drive down your feedback rating.

It's easy to destroy anyone selling on AMZ. Just call and ask 5 friends to buy your competitor's products. Then leave 1 star, just polite language is fine.
About VINE, 30% of them are worse than your competitors. They are extremely one-sided and emotional when evaluating products, many of them do not even read the user manual carefully, so they misunderstand the product, and in the end they leave 1 star.
They're even worse than kids in terms of overall evaluation skills, yet they're called KOLs. I've had 2 ASINs ruined because of VINE.
A lot of my enthusiasm collapsed.

My point is: Amazon should redesign its review system. In my case, and in any cases, if the buyer buys one item and not return it after 30 days, this item should be automatically regarded as a 5-star products.

My friend, I experienced the same thing, only 2 stars. However, the person did not respond to messages for two weeks. The review is absolutely empty and is very similar to the work of competitors. Amazon did not remove it. Sales immediately collapsed and even now, six months later, this review affects the rating.
And people are reluctant to leave reviews, unfortunately.
