Reviews are hard enough to come by

Reviews are hard enough to come by and good ones are treasure.

I have excellent on most all my products and good on the rest.

Why is it always the moron than leaves a bad review, mentioning things that are not applicable and have nothing to do with the product, stated or implied.

I think for my sanity I'm going to stop looking at reviews altogether.

Amazon allows unfounded complaints about products and makes it impossible to refute them.

Does anyone have a strategy for dealing with moronic reviews?

Shake it off, that's the only strategy you have.

Everyone gets a bad review, and it shows that you have real reviews, and not everyone likes everything. Even some people don't like chocolate.

Thankfully, I got many good reviews before the bad one, but I know that some people will hate my product, and some will love it.

I got a review saying my crackers aren't as crispy as the others, and I don't sell anything edible. But there it sits, & hopefully if someone reads it, they will get a good laugh.

There isn't a lot you can do, so try to shake it off, & come here to vent. We are all in the same boat.

Hi @Seller_e9UWv2umSI3MH

I like the response posted by @Seller_WBnGS7Ix3XiDX.

I try to appeal as many as possible irrational feedbacks left for sellers by buyers. I win some and I lose some.

My thought is that written reviews need to disappear entirely. Unhappy customers are 20x more likely to leave a review than a happy customer. Amazon sellers should get an automatic 5 Star Positive review on any transaction that is not followed up by a buyer.

Nope.

There is so much soul-destroying, hopeless nonsense that Amazon allows.

What breaks men is not work but meaningless work.

Don't even pay attention to any of it.

I received a review from Vine with your exact description. Even reported it. It was determined there were no policy violations.

It is sad isn't it? Thousands of happy customers receive their items and move on with their lives, leaving no review. But every idiot who is unhappy about anything will leave a negative feedback every time. FedEx left their package out in the rain? Negative feedback. The post office worker left the package in the neighbor's mailbox? Negative feedback. I got a negative one time because the customer said that Amazon would not accept their gift card.

Amazon is actually intentionally keeping this a problem. They can easily fix it. Credit the seller with a positive rating for every transaction that is 1) shipped on time using the proper delivery method. 2) has no negative feedback 3) has no claims

If a customer receives an item and keeps it.. And files no claims or leave no negative feedback then that is obviously a happy customer. Amazon could just give us a statistical boost for every good transaction.

The sad truth? Amazon wants this current system. The fact that the current system is disgustingly unfair and unethical is no concern to Amazon.

there are too many moron buyers on here I take a photo of what i am sending them to avoid the you sent me the wrong item rip off. Amazon is full of ripoff buyers the return rate is crazy because some of the returns are your competition and you cannot block a buyer like ebay on amazon the same buyer can just keep destroying your business I look for something bad to happen to a buyer and maybe then they will think twice

Exactly. At least before you could respond or even other customers could respond as well. I have one listing where another customer actually commented telling them how to resolve their issue. I have one listing now where a non-verified purchaser wrote an entire essay bashing the product and also left two questions not even framed as questions but comments about the product. And now this individual is a Vine reviewer on Amazon.
