Bulk Image Upload and Image Manager "Failed to upload file"

Since Wednesday, we have been receiving the following message when trying to upload images via Image Manager, single image, and Bulk Image Upload: "Error. Failed to upload the file." Tried three different web browsers and cleared data, cache. cookies, etc. but still no success. I have two virtual assistants encountering the same exact issue. I'm hoping it is just a Seller Central issue and not the account but would like to know if anyone else is having the same problem or has any suggestions on next steps to resolve? Seller Support is a waste of time. We are brand registered. This same issue happened a little over a month ago was finally resolved in a few days but we did not receive an explanation on what was wrong. We have exhausted all options. Hope this doesn't start to become a normal thing. Extremely frustrating. Thank you in advance!

Check user permissions. A new permission seems to have appeared in the Inventory section called "Image Management". The default setting is probably set to View. You will need to update to View & Edit. This worked for us. I hope it works for you too.
