Seller Support Chat/Reserves
I thought some of you might find this funny (and not funny). We decided to try the chat route on customer support today to talk about why reserve percentages constantly increase the closer we get to payout. Of course I know the canned answers/policies but the reasoning never equates to the seller account metrics, selling history, etc. I've read forum post after post, and everyone gets the same answer and there is never a resolve. Today the chat person simply left the chat. I am not sure why I expected actually support or a different answer but it was worth a try.

unironically, please contact the FTC about this and add this sort of thing to their lawsuit against Amazon
i can't tell you how to contact them, but it is a very simple phrase to google

I have had them straight up disconnect on me several times when they couldn't answer my question. Very frustrating.

After 7 years, I'm convinced "Amazon Seller Support" is an Oxymoron. I literally had a nightmare the night after my last experience trying to resolve an account health issue where the bad guy said "Thank You for contacting Amazon Seller Support. We're here to support you in selling with Amazon" while stealing my inventory in broad daylight.

I'm surprised he spelled his own name wrong.
That "k" should be a "t."

This one could be as simple as a new guy (churn is over 100%/yr there) not knowing how to do the chat equivalent of transferring a phone call on a PBX. But support is clearly incentivized -- actively or by poor application of metrics -- to make the experience bad enough that we don't bother. Given that Amazon fixes the problems that cost it money, and deprecates problems that make it (or their customers) money, no support means lower costs and more income/customers for Amazon. I hope congress, the FTC, Justice, or some superman rips this company a new one. However, regulatory capture makes the odds of that slim. Sad.

I called support 3 times and tried to tell them about my listings being inactive they hung up on me 3 times just in the middle of my speech.
I do not expect anything good from "Seller Partner Support".
