My Suggestion to Fix Amazon's Seller Support

I understand that Amazon's Seller Support is limited and that there are not enough resources to provide adequate support for every seller's needs.

My suggestion is that there should be two levels of Support: one, inferior, for small issues such as "my A-Z claim for one specific order was not granted" or "X order was refunded incorrectly." These things barely matter on the grand scale of things.

The second, a "superior" Support, would deal with—and thus provide excellent support for—matters that are truly important or disruptive to the business, such as compliance issues, deleted listings, account issues, deactivations, etc. This kind of Support would include higher-level staff who would truly look into an issue instead of offering generic replies.

I think what you might be referring to is SAS. it's a paid service and supposedly gives you a rep who can help with these types of issues. Other sellers have reported a variety of levels of help they have received.

correct, solution is, hire more overseas workers as he already does at $4-$6 an hour, this is why things don’t work well at Amazon, hence the lack of communication due to language barriers, incompetence and more. The only thing to do, is stop selling on here, boycott this place ..

On Amazon, it is set up at this date and time for all sellers to receive inferior support to any issue. Escalate, escalate, escalate might work... but it might not. This is the way Amazon is set up currently. We pray every day that the current CEO will realize, someday, to help honest sellers and get rid of bad hatters. This would grow Amazon exponentially. Train a poorly programmed bot to do that? Not going to happen any time soon.

This is Sludging, a technique that companies use to get their unhappy customer to just give up and walk away, relieving the company of the burden of having to do anything more. Their "support" systems are specifically designed to put you into endless phone loops, connect you with people with no authority (or knowledge), require you to submit more and more information within a given time, and generally make you mad enough to just give up and go away. For us sellers, Amazon has become a master of Sludging!
