How do I create a second Amazon account

i have a store called Steve Scott's Library I created years ago to sell books. I would like to create a new store for my jewelry business. How do I create a second store? I tried signing up with a second email address but it was rejected because it has the same cell number.

This might fall under the heading of trying have 2 accounts - not permitted. Have you considered altering your name to accommodate your 2 businesses? Steve Scott's Library & Jewelry?

Both accounts need separate bank accounts, e-mail addresses and phone numbers. They can never interact with each other or each other's competition. They can never offer the same product type.

That is incorrect. You can have 5, if you have a valid reason for each, as this seller does

Hi @Seller_b87I96YsFeqPa

Connor from Amazon here, thank you for the question. You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.

Examples of a legitimate business justification include:

* You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each

* You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies

* You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts

Please reference the resources below for more information on this as well.

Comply with Amazon’s Multiple Account policy

Address a Multiple Account Policy violation

Selling policies and seller code of conduct

Please let me know if there are any other questions.

Thanks,

Connor
