7000$ Inventory Missing/Lost in warehouse
Hello Amazon Sellers,
I hope this message finds you all well. I am writing to share a pressing issue I've encountered with my Amazon FBA inventory and to seek advice and insights from the community.
The Problem:
I have experienced the loss of approximately $7,000 worth of inventory in my Amazon FBA account, and despite my best efforts, I have not been able to recover these missing units. The inventory was part of a shipment which I sent to Amazon's fulfillment centers with BOL for proof of delivery.
Investigation Challenges:
I have diligently cooperated with Amazon Seller Support and provided all requested documentation, including the original commercial invoice from the supplier and proof of shipment for other successful shipments. However, the investigation into this missing inventory has reached an impasse.
Seeking Community Advice:
I am reaching out to the Amazon seller community for advice, guidance, and insights on how to navigate this challenging situation. Has anyone faced a similar issue with missing inventory and successfully resolved it? If so, I would greatly appreciate hearing about your experiences and any strategies or steps you took to resolve the matter.
Additionally, if there are specific actions, contacts, or resources within Amazon Seller Support that you found particularly helpful in resolving inventory discrepancies, please share those details.
Conclusion:
The loss of this inventory has had a significant impact on my business, and I am committed to finding a solution. I am open to any suggestions and advice from fellow sellers who may have encountered similar challenges.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message, and I look forward to any assistance or insights the community can provide.
Warm regards,

I would recommend not putting faith on Seller Support. I would try to check off boxes so I can understand my problem better.
Can you describe the impasse? What was the resulting message?

If you run the Inventory Ledger report for the affected ASIN(s), does it show any negative receipts?

Hi @Seller_PzJlbQqSjgrAE,
Thank you for the thread here!
When you have a moment, can you please send me your Seller Support case IDs for this? I'd be happy to take a further look into those cases to see how I can best help.
All the best,
Jameson

Same here, they lost a whole pallet of goods 1 year ago, the case was pending and in a couple of months they responded they received it but in 1 year they made a final action that it was not delivered. I lost 8k and no one care. I am searching for lawyer to sue them and get my money back.
We can prepare a class action lawsuit

One method works for me maybe it also helps u.
1) Open again new case and submit your usual shipment details like Proof of delivery, Invoice, etc, AND SUBMIT.
2) When you receive their automatic reply that the investigation is done they do not find it.
3) Reply with this sentence.
(Kindly let me know in which FC the secondary check took place -)
I hope it helps u

This wouldn't happen to be approx 4,000 units, would it? I just posted in another thread that Amazon has grossly mis-counted one of my shipments and I still can't do a discrepancy report yet because the number goes up daily. It's a type of air freshener if that helps.

We're dealing with the same issue. Roughly $10K worth of inventory in limbo for several months now with no end in sigh. Same redundant scripted answers by seller support thanking my for patience with no real solution/ETA/Next step. Getting harder and harder to continue be profitable on Amazon with these type of issues getting very frequent.

Amazon at its best. Only send items FBA that you are prepared to loose. We had one awhile back and missing for 6 months and they finally accepted invoices and next day all inventory magically appeared in stock checked in. After that we cut FBA out by 95% we dont play that game that is just crooked business.

Can you give us a screen shot of the BOL. Did you get the POD?
