Subject: Urgent: Generics Error 5885 Issue on Branded Listings

Dear [Amazon Support/Team],

I hope this message finds you well.

We are encountering an issue with Generics Error 5885 on listings for well-known brands (e.g., Native, Tree Hut, Estee Lauder). Despite these products being correctly branded, we consistently receive this error when attempting to set up offers on these listings.

To clarify:

Product Branding: The products in question are from established brands and are not generic.

Error Code: Generics Error 5885 is appearing, which appears to be an internal glitch rather than an issue with the listing’s branding.

Seller Central Investigation: We understand that Seller Central requires real-world images to investigate. However, the issue seems to be related to an internal system error, not the branding of the product.

Given the frequency of such issues, we typically verify listings before ordering products to avoid these errors. Despite this precaution, we still encounter this problem, indicating a possible internal glitch.

Could you please provide assistance or a solution for this issue? Your prompt support would be greatly appreciated as it impacts our ability to list and sell these branded products effectively.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards,

since you are trying to list restricted brands, I am sure you have and Amazon specific LOA from each brand and brand authorized, B2B only, distributor invoices?
