Why Amazin is so stupid?

Why Amazin is so stupid?

I have been selling perfume on Amazon for months. But today all active detail pages were removed because someone added unrelated keyword lidocaine to our listings. Amazon removed all my listings without investigation and thought my perfumes contains lidocaine. How can you just watch this happen and just do nothing to these malicious sellers? Who added these keywords to do harm to others sellers, whose selling account should be closed. I don't think it is difficult for Amazon to find who did this. Killing others' pages just takes 5 minutes and appealing will take ages. It's time to show your existance, AMAZON!

Case id: 14656028191.

Please help!

The root cause here is that they are not "others pages".

If they were your branded pages you would have authority over the ASIN and another seller could not make changes to the ASIN attributes.

You were selling on a page that is/was not yours and it was changed.

I got the same problem. They chenged my product information in other sites and Amazon removed my listing from amazon.com even if I'm a branded seller. No way to protect myself on this platform.

First rule of Amazon Fight Club... when posting about how stupid Amazon is, don't misspell Amazon in the title and the body copy... it makes your whole post suspect. LOL

Did you create the listing yourself for your products? If not you are borrowing listing space that does not belong to you.

Stop blaming Amazon for issues brought upon yourself. It is up to you to assure the information for your product is correct not Amazon's.

Check your email, there are most likely warnings from Amazon you ignored.

Grow up and take responsibility for your business.

The wordsmith in me wants to advise you to use spellcheck before posting.

This is a typical Chinese tactic. We had this happen a few years ago where they changed our text to Chinese. The Chinese text was actually something not soo nice. I think the work around they use to do it is to simply have someone with vendor central access to do it.

It was a complete disaster when they did it. Amazon didn't help, we had to help ourselves.

Greetings @Seller_XUlj6VdioSAfP,

I'm sorry you are having issues with your product. For many products, particularly in the Beauty Category, Amazon requires a list of ingredients. While your product may not contain lidocaine, Amazon requires the product to have the ingredients in English on the detail page. The product will not be eligible for reinstatement until that expectation is met. I apologize for the difficulties this creates. While your product may not have prohibited compounds, the team requires that you have proof of the contents of your product. This policy exists to ensure the safety of Buyers. Once you have updated your ingredients and images you can reach back out to the team via your open case to appeal once again. Thank you for your understanding.
