Brazil Marketplace Added Without my Knowledge/Consent; Now I'm Locked Out Due to "Invalid Charge Method"

I have spoken with three customer service agents, including one from Brazil. None of them have been able to help with the following situation...
Last night the Brazil marketplace was added to my account and made active without my knowledge and consent. As a result, I was locked out due to my charge card not being approved there. I made sure my debit card was added there (the same one I use in the U.S.). I also made that marketplace inactive.
Currently I have been locked out for over 12 hours with orders pending and still coming in which I am unable to fulfill.
About two hours ago, my bank's fraud alert center sent a text asking if a charge of $0.00 from amazon.br was legit. I replied "Yes". I'm hopeful this will clear everything up.
Still very annoyed that the Brazil Marketplace was added without my consent.
Any advice/suggestions?

Brazil has been made part of the "North America Unified Account." This has been slowly occurring to many sellers on a seemingly random basis. Hopefully adding your credit card will open up your account, but a word of warning, do NOT ask how to remove the Brazil account. At sellersasksellers there is a seller who just asked how one would do it, NOT to please do it, just how to. He has been locked out for so long now I've lost track. And of course, multiple nonsense contacts from seller "support" about how to fix this, even after Amazon admitted their mistake in shutting him down. My advice would be to just hang tight for now.

For the good of the group:
I got this working once I updated with my credit card (as opposed to my debit card, which had been working just fine before the Brazil marketplace was added).
I had to update my charge method in all four marketplaces before I could access again.
I hope this helps others.
