How to Lower shipping rates as a Seller?

Hi, I am a brand on an individual seller plan, that fulfills on its own. How do I reduce or keep the shipping rates for customers free? I hear Amazon Prime's pledge is a little bit of a process. Meanwhile, can I offer free shipping? My settings don't show otherwise.

No you cannot offer free shipping.

With an Individual Plan you do not have control over your shipping prices.

Amazon will set your shipping charges. They may or may not cover the actual cost of shipping. If it does not cover your shipping costs then you need to increase your price to cover the difference.

Note: If you have 40 or more orders a month you will save money with a Professional account and have control over your own shipping rates.

*So basically with an individual account Amazon charges $1 per-item fee per order. A pro account is $39.99 a month.
