Can I put my own brand as Manufacturer

I am in the process of getting my Children's Product Certification by having a third party perform test on the product, however my supplier said I cannot put my own brand as manufacturer on Amazon listing because it will not match the certificate as it will state their factory as the manufacturer in the certificate and it will cause problems including problems with US customs. Is this true? if so, is there a way for me to edit the manufacturer from my listing?

Hello @Seller_EJW51qBeQde5W,

Michelle at Amazon here. You are not able to list your brand as the manufacture, you will need to list the company that manufacturers your products for you. You should be able to modify the manufacturer in your listing by clicking the edit button on the right side of your inventory page. Ensure that you are trying to edit the original listing you created it with. If that doesn't work, you can delete the listing and all of your contributions and start over as long as you have not shipped any inventory in yet. If you have, contact Seller Support and they can look into this for you.

If you choose to delete, follow the portion of the instructions that tell you:

Sellers can delete both their offers and item data contributions by specifying an " x " in the " add-delete" field for Inventory Loader feed submissions. This will completely remove all data associated with the seller's SKU.

This will ensure that it removes all of your contributions. Please know that if others have also contributed to the listing, it will not allow you to create a new listing with the same UPC and will match back to the original ASIN.

I hope this information is helpful.

Regards,

Michelle
