Im very confused on what Amazon mean by this. Im trying to get my generic product to show as my brand name. I just got my trademark. I dont understanda the terminology I guess. How is my brand name taken and controller by the brand name owner if I am the brand name owner?

Have you checked the USPTO site to see if there is an identical brand in a different category?
ALSO, when you say "I just got my trademark." do you mean it has been issued and is LIVE or it is just filed?

This is against the TOS. A Generic product is a product WITHOUT any brand, nor on the pictures, nor in the bullet points, nor in the description. You have to create a "normal" listing if you want to sell it as your brand, with an UPC from GS1.
