What is a promotional rebate on Amazon? Promotional rebates are charged to your account when you offer a product promotion. Amazon credits you the full price of the product and “charges” you for the promotional amount.

Here is a link to the SC help page that covers How to Read Your Payment Report. You will see that Additional charges or credits that do not fall under the Order or Adjustment transaction types are recorded as "Other". The transaction type for this amount will be specified in the transaction-type column of the report.
