Revenue Calculator versus actual item details

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I could not find it if it was.

In checking some of our ASINS, we just noticed this in the revenue calculator vs what Amazon is actually charging us. Below is an example of the Same ASIN in Revenue Calculator vs. what is shown in the actual items details.

Revenue Calculator:

Sales Price 9.95

Referral Fee 1.49

FBA Fee 2.45

So without my COGS, Gross revenue would be 6.01

However, if we go into our item detail, it shows the following

Sales Price 9.95

Referral Fee 1.49

FBA Fee 3.22 (In our manage inventory window it is showing 2.45, its this in the item detail)

Inbound Transportation Charge .34

So without my COGS Gross revenue is 4.90

This is the SAME ASIN in revenue calculator as what we looked up in item detail. Also, what is the Inbound Transportation Charge, there is no definition of this anywhere, and we are already paying for inbound shipment, and per unit it is only .0645 per unit using Amazons preferred carrier.

Can anyone explain the transportation charge as well as what is going on with their fees that do not match at all.?

Transportation charge is your inbound shipping if you use a partnered carrier. You see the price when you send a shipment to FBA.

As for differences in the FBA fees, Amazon launched a new fee structure Aug 29th. It reduces FBA pick/pack fees for items listed at $10 or less. Do you have any recent sales (after Aug 29th) that you can look at to see what $$ Amazon charged?

This is often the case when amazon update your product dimension wrongly during scanning, Pls check if your product dimensions given in the revenue calculator at the top matches to the actual product dimensions? If not better you proceed with the case for correction in the dimensions and re-imbursement of the overbilling in the FBA Fee, by provided the scaled images of your product.

Hope this works for you too.
