Updated Expiration Date Policy? "Shampoo" and other personal care products must arrive with "900 days" before expiration to FBA center?
Just stumbled upon an updated Expiration Date page in Amazon -- has anyone seen this?

My understanding is that historically Amazon required a minimum of a few months (across the board) of expiration date on products... but now look at the table on the page above -- here are some select items:
Candy must arrive with at least "540 days" before expiration, that's like 1.5 years
Personal care and beauty products (shampoos, soaps, lotions, makeup, fragrances) must arrive with 900 days (2.5 years!) before expiration.
Am I reading this correctly??
Is Amazon going to "expire" a Shampoo that has 2 years before expiration?

Good catch. I just stumbled onto this post after we got a listing removed due to "close to, or past, its expiration date", despite all inventory being 2+ years from expiration, while also practicing the depletion of all inventory when we manufacture/send in a new batch.
Looking at the updated guidelines... it seems that they don't even have a clear idea of these new suggested shelf-life requirements.
Above the chart in the link you provided, it says:
"For example, a bottle of supplements with 240 daily servings must have a remaining shelf life of 240 days and an additional 90 days, which makes 330 days."
Then, right below on the chart, it shows: Herbal or mineral supplements - 730 days.
