when customer does not pickup package

USPS left a notice to the buyer and customer asked for redelivery and it looks like customer was not there again and she does not want to pick up parcel from post. If buyer does not pick up parcel it will stay at the office. Buyer was informed that she has to go and pick up parcel 3 times and she does not respond to any emails and does not want to bother going to post.

Buyer filed an A-to- Z claim and Amazon refunded and we got a defect, how is this seller fault!

"Buyer filed an A-to- Z claim and Amazon refunded "

You have a BIGGER problem than the defect.

If this is an experienced scammer once they see the refund they WILL go to the PO and pick up the package.

If you have not done so, contact the PO at HER address and tell them that they need to return the package to YOU as soon as possible since the recipient was refunded.

Don't wait -- get off the computer and call that PO!

Yes, this scam is becoming more "popular."

Customer manipulates the delivery process so that the package remains at (or returns to) the Post Office. They then tell Amazon that they haven't received it, and Amazon refunds, of course, because that's what they do. Customer then goes and picks it up.

I hope you were able to successfully follow @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp's instructions.

It is not the Seller's fault, but if the Seller did not purchase Postage using Amazon Buy Shipping and make sure the package was scanned into the carrier's possession before the close of the Ship-By window as scheduled by Amazon, then the Seller is left unprotected, and it becomes the Seller's responsibility.

HOWEVER, IF the Seller DID follow the steps to ensure Seller Protection (noted above), then what this Seller is describing is absolutely a "Problem with Delivery", and is absolutely covered by the Amazon Protection Policy.

If the Seller did follow Policy, they need to Appeal with the Order Details and the fact that the Seller was within Policy for Amazon Protection from this Claim.

If the Seller did NOT follow Amazon Protection Policy, then perhaps they will learn an expensive lesson and reconsider purchasing postage for Amazon orders within Amazon Protection Policy in the future. It is cheap insurance against this kind of scam.

Good Luck!

This is a buyer scam, once amazon refunds the money, the buyer will go pickup from post office. Amazon should be on seller side on this, instead on scammer thief side. Once they pick up, you can appeal.

Hello @Seller_micqs6u8ObDaR- thanks for the post, and I'm glad to see the community offer some quality insight here. I will link to our Buy Shipping Protections page as mentioned below, but if you'd like to share the Order ID in question here, I'd be happy to take a closer look from my end as well!

Thanks,

Danny
