Question about B2B Custom Quotes
Question about custom quotes for B2B.
I recently submitted my private quote and put in a 5-day handling time. Today I received the order and Amazon says that the order needs to ship today, but I do not have enough stock to fulfill it immediately. I went back to confirm in the quote and it says Handling time 5 Days.
I set the longer handling time when offering the quote to ensure I could gather the stock required for the order. (really only needed 1-2 business days) but why would Amazon require us to give a handling time when quoting if they are not going to honor it? Seems like an unnecessary ping to metrics for late shipment. Seller support was not helpful.

Why would you accept the quote and bid on it if you couldn't fill it (whether the handling time was 1 or 10 days? And its Amazon, what would make you think they would follow anything? Also, what was the requested delivery date for the quote from the buyer? Is it soon?
