Bought Trademark but still cannot gain access to our brand
Hi all, we have owned our brand for a long time but are just now opening up our account on Amazon. Not much to our surprise, a TON of other sellers are already selling our products and a seller (who we have no idea who they are) already are listed as the Brand Owner. We have already tried the FAQ link for Brand Registry of "how do we gain access to our brand," provided proof of our trademark that we own it. This other seller no longer has a single listing on Amazon and they are using our business address as their business address.
Brand Registry support keeps telling us to contact the brand owner for access to our brand but
1. We have no idea who they are
2. Google comes up with nothing regarding their seller name
3. Their address matches ours, also showing no email or phone number. Anything else we can try?

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to assist. I am hoping to clarify some details you provided here so that I can properly direct you to what you can do next.
The thread title says that you bought the TM, but the detail states you have owned it for a long time:
- Did you purchase the TM and are now trying to enroll it in Brand Registry?
- You have always owned the TM and another seller was able to enroll the Brand in Brand Registry?
- Is the brand that is currently enrolled, the same product type? this could potentially be a matter of the same brand name (but different products) getting linked incorrectly.
If you prefer, you can share a case ID as well and hopefully, I can grab what I need from that case to research and provide some guidance.
Generally speaking, the Brand Registry enrollment process does not allow for anyone other than the TM owner from enrolling the brand in Amazon Brand Registry. 1 instance of a caveat would be if the seller enrolling the brand had a specific Letter of Authorization allowing them to enroll the brand on the brand owners behalf.
